Our Story
Founded by Leila Jones in 2003, VelaMira is a woman-owned and black-owned business that draws its name from the constellations, meaning ‘wonderful sails.’ Just as those stars guide sailors, we’re here to help guide you toward the life you were meant to live—full of purpose, balance, and fulfillment.

About Human Design
The Human Design system was founded by Ra Uru Hu in the 1990s. Karen Curry Parker learned the system from him and after about a decade, she began to feel that the language of Human Design was limiting. She created the Quantum Human Design® system to include higher vibrational language that helps people transform their lives and see themselves as a verb instead of a noun. Leila has had the pleasure of earning eight Quantum Human Design® certifications through Karen’s programs, and transforming her own life in the process.Federal Government Contract Information
